I would like to thank you for the extra effort your installer (Ian Bar) made to get the stairlift operating that day even though it required a trip back to the shop to replace a faulty motor unit and not completing the installation until late evening.
Having the installation completed that day meant my wife who was suffering from a serious back injury and who just came home from the hospital was able to sleep in her bed.

Mrs. Barnes is a patient in this office. We have been taking care of her for chronic recurrent neck and back pains that she had through the years. At present she is 84 years of age. It has been very difficult for her to take a bath as she has not taken any in years. She can only take a shower.

I am writing to tell you what a positive experience it was to deal with you and how much we appreciate having such a quality product in our home.
My 97-year old mother now again can enjoy soaking in the tub after missing her relaxing baths for a long time after the doctor told her she should no longer take the chance of getting in and out of a traditional bathtub.
After dealing with another company and losing money in a transaction that fell through I was pleasantly surprised to be able to deal directly with you, the owner of the company, to be able to finalize the details of the sale on the phone, and to complete the whole transaction in a very timely manner. Your commitment to seeing that we were totally satisfied is much appreciated as well. Your crew was pleasant, professional, and extremely careful to clean up all of the possible mess, dust and trash.
I’ve finally decided where to place you on the scale of reality. You’re just a little bit above “too good to be true”. You see if you were “too good to be true” then you wouldn’t be true and true you certainly are. Since “too good to be true” could be considered derogatory to the cynic as it’s,
well, just too good to be true, you’d think you’d belong below “too good to be true” but you guys can’t be below anything. You’re just above and beyond what one has learned to accept. So, logically you just have to be placed above “too good to be true”. And I put you only just a little bit above “too good to be true” because if I put you much higher no one would believe me.
As a resident of California, I had just spent 6 weeks in Massachusetts with my mother while she recovered in rehab after having a stroke trying to convince her to move to assisted living and I just couldn’t convince her. She wanted to go home.
How can you deny a person who has given you security for 50 years, knowing if life got just too tough you could always go home and she’d do whatever she could to help you? Answer is, you can’t and still maintain any sense of dignity. So, her wishes were honored and preparation for her homecoming went under way.
There was the push up chair, the adjustable bed with rails, the sturdier furniture, the walkway from the driveway to the front door and then the large screen TV with a good sound system. Then it hit me. How could she bathe? After lots of research it became obvious a walk in tub was the only way. After more research, the “inexpensive” walk in for $3 to 5K, the free shipping, the this and the that, you get down to the real expense including labor and all of a sudden it’s $20K. Absolutely fascinating how that happened. You see, all these other people were just “too good to be true”.
And then I found you… I’m about to break into the song like they did on The Sound of Music. You took every bit of frustration out of the whole package from start to finish. You offered everything a person could ask for and delivered exactly what was asked for to complete satisfaction and then some.
Oh, and Jim, your installer? He was such a good guy you’d think he was out of the 1950’s when good service was the only real good promotion there was. My mother now calls me “sweetie” when I call her and every single conversation includes the soaking with the jets or the quick shower she can give herself, one of the rare things she can still do by herself for herself.
I am writing to thank you for the wonderful job you and you crew from Boston Walk-In Bath did installing our new bathtub. It was a messy job, but it was done and your crew cleaned up, you could never even tell that any work had been done in our house.
The other walk-in bath companies had all visited me with their sales agents who seemed very much like used car salesmen in the worst sense of the stereotype. Their bids were outrageously expensive and everything was extra including expanding the width of the bathroom door, reversal plumbing, etc. The sales agents even pulled that old canard of the prices are about to go up so you better so you better buy now in an attempt to force my senior citizen parents into making a quick deal. They called repeatedly to the point of annoyance and badgered us to make a sale.
When I called Boston Walk-In Bath my call was returned by you, the owner, and we talked for I would think 20 minutes before we even discussed a sale. We talked about the Yankees and the Red Sox and we even talked about life in New York as opposed to Boston. I was at ease with you and liked you before we even discussed the sale.
It was a pleasure negotiating with you when the time came. You were upfront and direct with no pressure and no sales gimmicks. You simply told me what your costs were and what a walk-in bath installation could cost me. Unlike those other companies, you were POP: pay one price. Everything was included. Everything was top of the line. The price you quoted beat all of your competitors by thousands of dollars. I still marvel at the fact that you gave me your personal call phone number and told me to call you with any questions at any time. In this day and age, that kind of personal service is truly hard to find.
You should have seen the faces of the sales from your major competitors when I told them that I had contracted Boston Walk-In Bath. Being a novelist and screenwriter I’ve learned to be a keen observer of human emotion. Although the sales agents try to hide it, they all looked sick and knew they had lost a potential customer.
I was even more convinced when your paperwork arrived by mail, and after working out your costs, the bill I was presented with had a final sale price and even cheaper than the bid we discussed on the phone. Never in my life had that ever happened to me before. I was convinced at that moment more than ever that Boston Walk-In Bath had gotten the job.
Coming from New York, the sales agents of your major competitors warned me that you would do a fine job, but I would have to wait weeks until you were able to come from Boston to my area. They tried to seduce me by telling me that they could start the job tomorrow. I decided that I didn’t care about waiting a few weeks for a better and product — my faith in you was proven right.
Jim and Brian, your two-man crew, are great guys and excellent contractors. It felt like I had two friends in the house more than having two workers ripping out my upstairs bathroom. They even helped us move our furniture and move it back when the job was done. The towel rack had been long broken and when they left
it was fixed. They explained the usage of the new bathtub to my parents, tested everything and asked us a least 20 times if there was anything else they could do and if weren’t happy with the job. I can’t thank you or Jim and Brian enough. I had been concerned that my parents getting on in years would suffer a fall getting in or out of our old bathtub. My new Boston Walk-In bath has put those fears to rest. My mom said, “sitting in her new bath made her feel like Capt. Kirk controlling her own starship.” My dad loves the Hydro massage. Being an old college football player he has always had problems with his knees and constant muscle pulls in his shins for as long as I can remember. I am happy to report that since he has been using the hydrotherapy every night he has no more occurrences of either.
I wish to thank you again for making a difficult process simple and easy. When it was done, except for the new bath, it was like you were never even here. I would recommend you and your crew and Boston Walk-In Bath to anyone on any day at any time.

I’d like to give you a brief synopsis of our voyage that resulted in selecting your company for our bath needs. When we decided that a walk-in tub would be the best bath modality for my wife, we researched every walk-in bathtub company we could find. We were amazed at the vast array of companies, prices and services available: from doit yourself kits made in China to “we do it all” packages offered by companies such as yours, Boston Walk-In Bath. When we contacted you, “Bob”, we were very impressed by your knowledge of this diverse and growing industry. We were further impressed by your ability to do all of the measurements, the project proposals and explanations of the intricacies of the installation process. I asked my wife, “when in this day and time do you deal directly with the owners of any company, especially with a product-line as complex as this?”
Your policy of dealing directly from owner to customer is refreshing. But what is really impressive is your installation staff. These men, Brian and Jim, are expert contractors. Professionals. They came on time, left on time, made no muss no fuss and made sure that the tub worked perfectly out of the box. They were great and we love our tub.
Did I mention that we found your company to be the least costliest of the “we do it all” companies? I know you know that, but now we do too. If I were ever asked, I’d have to say: if one wants a walk-in bathtub and wants it done expertly and professionally at a reasonable cost, Boston Walk-In Bath is the way to go.

Just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how much we love our walkin tub. It is so relaxing and so easy to get in and out of, that I no longer need any help. After two years of struggling with the bathtub, I now find it so satisfieding using your product. I also want to say that Jim and Paul were so professional in their work. Many times we heard them laughing, which showed us that they really enjoyed doing their job. They can come back anytime as we enjoyed the way they spoke, just that Bostonian accent.

I am so glad that I saw your advertisement at the Louis & Clark Medical Store for Boston Walk-In Bath Tubs. We had seen many ads on television for other companies and had many inquiries at other local venues, but YOU were the first one to respond immediately and were at our home within one day of our initial phone call. Your friendly manner and willingness to reveal step-by-step that it was indeed possible for the walk-in batutub to fit into our small bathroom space, that even though it would not fit through our door, a small window that needed replacing would be “the way to go”. Since we needed a new window anyway, why not enlarge the hole, slip that tub on though, and then you would replace the window for us. The plumber, carpenters and electricians that actually did the work were reliable, experienced and continued the friendly atmosphere which began with your first visit to our home.
We are so please with our new, bright and shiny walk-in bath tub with water jet therapy. Both my husband Glenn and I have arthritis and this has helped immensely. Glenn’s disability has made standing in one spot impossible and he must be able to sit down. Having this tub is truly a godsend for us. No longer do we need to step over a high side of a tub – thank Goodness! The doorway entry and easy step-in is awesome. We cannot thank you enough for making this happen.

I am pleased to offer my comments as a satisfied customer. Yesterday, your employee Mike Eagleston, a license electrician, made the necessary battery replacement and checked out my Acorn Superglide 120 stairlift. Mike recognized this equipment had not been in use for a long time. He demonstrated Stairlift operation using the integral controls in the arm rests and also the remote control, and provided further instructions on best procedure for us to follow in case of power outage lasting several days, as might occur after a winter snowstorm.
I would say Mike Eagleston went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the equipment worked as required, and to make sure our service and operation questions were answered before he left. All the work was accomplished on schedule. Based on my experience yesterday, as well as with several email and telephone communications, I am happy to recommend this company and in particular, Mike Eagleston.
